Pelletizing or making pellets is the process of using organic
material such as corn stalks, corn cobs, grass, leaves, bean stubble, switchgrass, straw, dry distillers grain (DDG), seed
hulls, alfalfa, cardboard, saw dust and paper and putting them through a pellet mill to form pellets. These pellets are then
used for burning as fuel in pellet stoves or furnaces that are available at stores such as Menards, Farm and Fleet, Farm
King, etc. or used as animal feed and animal bedding. There are multiple uses for pellets. Pellet Pros is offering the average person a way to produce their own pellets
with our smaller pellet mills at an affordable price. Pellet Pros offers a wide
variety of equipment for making pellets. We have nine different sizes of personal use machines that have a production range
from 80 lbs. per hour to 700 lbs. per hour with starting prices as low as $2,395.00. Our small commercial pellet mill
ranges in production rates of up to 1,000 lbs. per hour. We have some models of our portable mills that are available
with diesel engines. These can be used where electricity is not available. Our PTO model hooks up to a tractor, making
pellitizing available in the field or anywhere electricity is not available. We offer hammer mills for reducing the size of
biomass (organic) material before it is put through the pellet mill. Materials need to be no larger
than 1/4 inch to go through the pellet mill. Dryers and coolers are available also. Dryers are used to lower the
moisture content of your biomass (organic) material. Coolers are used
to cool the finished pellet and are capable of cooling 1 to 2 tons per hour. If you are doing mass pelleting,
a bagger is very useful for containing the pellets for storage or delivery. Our baggers will accept 25 to 110 lb bags
that can be heat pressed shut. Please browse our web site. All new machines come with a warranty. (WARRANTIES
ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE) We also stock parts
for our pellet machines (pellet mills). Please contact a sales associate who will be able to answer your questions on the
wide variety of machines we have available. Tech support is also available to answer your technical questions. Testing biomass
to receive recipes is available. Please call for pricing for testing arrangments. Our office staff is available to answer your
questions, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 4pm (CST).
